Sällan har det annonserats så många fina nya mottagare som nu. AOR vill inte vara sämre. Under Ham Radio i Friedrichshafen visade man sitt nya flaggskepp AR ALPHA, en mottagare för 10 kHz - 3.5 GHz.
Mottagaren är i första hand riktad till professionella användare (blir nog dyr) och är fortfarande under utveckling. Det är en ny typ av mjukvarudefinierad bredbandsmottagare baserad på ZERO-IF och DDS. En 6” TFT färgskärm som kan visa häpnadsveckande 1 GHz bandbredd.
